DESCRIPTION:Basic rope rescue is a key tool in any climber’s tool belt. Knowing how to get yourself\, or someone else\, out of trouble is the key to a good day or a really bad one. \nCourse Topics:\n-Escaping a belay\n-Ascending a rope\n-The prussic \nThis is a two hour course taught by ACC Great Plains Leaders. This course is limited to 4 participants. Register at  https://accgreatplains.ca or via email at jamieleibel@sasktel.net \nYou should be an active gym climber or outdoor climber and familiar with top-rope belay systems. You should be comfortable climbing 5.7. \nThere is no fee for this course other than regular Regina Climbing Centre entrance and rental fees. \n*ACC Great Plains Membership is required*
