SUMMARY:Stoke Night
DESCRIPTION:Let’s get together and get stoked for the mountains! \nThis will be our last Stoke Night of the season. Come hang out to listen to two awesome trips. Jennifer Billinsky is going to share about climbing in La Huasteca and Nah Yah Cenote\, Mexico (take notes for winter 2026). Justin Messner is going to share about his experience last summer at the ACC’s General Mountaineering Camp (GMC) Summer Leadership Course in the Selkirk Mountains. \nWhat is stoke night? \nIn the depths of the seasonal depression months\, we’re hosting a Friday night each month where one of our very own mountain people will present on a trip they’ve done. You can expect exaggerated tales\, epic photos\, maps\, packing lists\, planning details\, and the unexpected because each night is completely up to whoever we’ve wrangled to present. We’ll watch the presentation in awe\, badger the presenter with questions\, then hang out and dream and plan our next trips. \nDoors open at 7 and we’ll start the presentation shortly after. Enter through the doors labelled Play Creative. BYO snacks and drinks if you’re into that. \n
